Ward 8 residents are among some of the highest population that qualify and benefit from government assistance. Councilmember White is committed to strengthening the resources that we offer to residents. The measures  that Councilmember White has introduced this Council period can be found below:

• Burial Assistance Program Increase Amendment Act of 2017 - To amend the Burial Assistance Program Reestablishment Act of 1999 to increase the amount of burial assistance offered through the Department of Human Services burial assistance program.
